ABOUT KAROLINE

  • German Bronze & Silver Medalist in
    Dressage and Jumping
  • Experienced competitor with young horses in Dressage and Jumping
  • Not afraid to work with difficult horses

Karoline grew up in a horse family in Germany and  started competing from an early age in Dressage and Jumping.

She worked for Show Jumping  Olympic Champion Lars Nieberg riding and managing many different horses.
She gained a lot of knowledge and experience from being in this kind of highly professional environment for several years.

During her career Karoline rehabbed many horses that were unrideable due to wrong and hard training. With her calm and understanding attitude she retrained them for ridability and even made them confident enough to attend shows again.

Karoline is specialized in young horse training, recovery horse training after injuries and training of difficult horses. â€‹

PHILOSOPHY

Riding is probably the most complicated and complex sport in the world.
It only depends on you 50% - the other 50% depend on a 1300 pound animal that doesn't understand English. You and your horse have to find a way to communicate with each other and make things easier which is often not as complicated as it seems, if you take it step by step. This means we mainly have to focus on two topics: Basics and Priorities.
If we constantly work on perfecting your basics and subconscious acts you'll see that the more advanced movements almost "happen automatically".
During your ride you're not able to focus on 20 different issues, that's why it's indispensable to have a trainer who sorts the main priorities at the time the right way. We need to transform your issues one after another into correct subconscious acts and the more of them you and your horse acquire the better you become.

TRAINING

Our Training Philosophy is based on the German Scale of Education:
  • Rhythm
  • Suppleness
  • Contact
  • Impulsion
  • Straightness
  • Collection
We can help you by training and developing your horse at all levels and also compete if you want us to. Since consistency is one of the most important keys to success for both horse and rider we exclusively offer full training.
Full training contains 5 rides a week but it can also be combined with lessons.

LESSONS

Our program aims at competitive and ambitious riders of all levels and ages. Becoming a good rider is a long and hard journey without shortcuts but with lots of ups and downs. By sorting the priorities and taking one step at the time he can make this path easier for you and your horse.
All lessons are supported by our Pixeo Video System so after your ride you'll be able to watch the lesson on your phone and therefore also visually understand what we were working on.

CLINICS

While teaching in the past few years we noticed we have to explain a lot of theoretical content to create a base on which students understand what we want them to do, especially in clinics since most students are not being coached by us on a regular base. That’s why each of our clinics starts with a theoretical lesson in which we talk about important basics and common mistakes. Dressage clinics contain 45 min single rides, Jumping clinics are being held in groups of three students.  We offer one, two or three day clinics in Dressage and Jumping whereby Jumping clinics can also have a focus on Basic Dressage work.

SHOWS

After months and years of hard training some of you naturally want to reward yourself by being successful at shows.
We have lots of experience in showing and coaching at national and international shows up to FEI levels which lets us help you to avoid surprises and negative experiences.
If you're already an experienced show rider we can help you to raise your scores by paying attention to fine details and working on your mindset. In order to build a long term career it's very important to manage shows the right way:
Which show are you going to attend?
Which classes are you going to ride?
When are you supposed to move up or down a level?
And why is it even better to skip a show if necessary?
Let's make the right decisions  together!

YOUNG HORSE & RECOVERY HORSE TRAINING

It's very hard to retrain an older horse, that's why the solid education of a young horse matters. We believe in bringing the horses slowly up the levels and giving them enough time to develop both muscles and skills first before taking the next step. We've learned that when it comes to developing a horse it's often necessary to take a step back in order to move two steps forward.
We exclusively offer a full program that will be individually designed and adapted to your horses needs.
The customized young horse and recovery horse programs contain different components such as training, lunging and recreational rides.
We literally take full care of your horse.
